I found a couple more interesting photos that weren't tagged with Ruth Dicker's name, but are interesting nonetheless. The first is a picture of people at the opening with a circular Ruth Dicker painting on the wall and the second is the larger mural in the context of the bank. I believe that there were two or three of these round pieces at the branch. I also believe that all of these pieces, including the larger mural, went up for auction in 2005 and I don't know there whereabouts today.

Archival Photos of Bank of Sonoma County Opening
I was doing some research and came across an interesting website called worldcat that links to different library systems. It took me to a couple of archival photos of Ruth Dicker. Eventually, it led me to a number of great photos taken by Don Meacham at the Sonoma County Library. The notes read, "Lawrence Simons, building architects, Ruth Dicker, landscape painter, John P. Long president of Bank of Sonoma County, bank located at corner of First and D. Streets." I have never seen any of these photos before, but I have seen this painting. The dates seem to disagree on 1967 or 1973.

Nut Tree Harvest Dinner
I just came across this post, for the Nut Tree Harvest Dinner, this Saturday November 10th.
What caught my eye is that this picture appears to have at least three Ruth Dicker paintings in it. Is this an old picture of the Nut Tree cafe? If so, are there more? Is it a recent picture?
Update: A reader commented that the picture likely came from the 2010 dinner and sent a link to the Vacaville Museum Facebook page. Only the painting on the left is a Ruth Dicker painting. I think it is Sonngarten from 1992. The other two looked like poppies in the background, but aren't.

All in the family
A fan sent in a picture of a Ruth Dicker painting and said there are more in her family. She is going to send more pictures soon. This painting was purchased at the Nut Tree.
Here is Winter Sky - Deveaux from 1989.

The Studio Wall
Recently, I've been thinking more about Ruth's studio. I didn't think I had any pictures of the floor, which was one of the most interesting things in the house. Ruth's painting process involved a lot of splatter and drops of paint and it all ended up on the floor. The large wall was where new paintings and works-in-progress would live. Looking though the latest set of scans, I see that I actually have many pictures of the wall and floor, so here are a few.

Les Fleurs De Le Soleil and Rocky Ridge
Two more great paintings from private collections have recently been sent in. The first is actually featured on one of the Ruth Dicker postcards. It is called Les Fleurs De Le Soleil from 1991:
The second one is called Rocky Ridge from 1988:
I believe this is a companion piece to a few more like it, but I have to track down photos.
